Hi guys,

i also have the false-tooltip-problem. I am running Windows 7 64Bit on my PC but it also occured to me when i was still running Windows Vista 64Bit.

I wanted to post a log, but changing the Ngists.exe.config does not cause any log to appeaer. In fact, it already looked like it should look AFTER changing the logging-level although i\'ve never even opened this file.

Other Screen ?

Hello,

first i have to say thank you for this great Applet. Alot of nice konfigurations!!!

But i have an ask. Is it possibel to give one of the screen a few more infomations?

There is one screen where i see my name and i can see if a new member comes in the
channel and goes out and i see who speaks.
It would be very nice if i could see on this screen how many players are in this channel
and the PC- Clock time.
If there is a way you could put this on this screen too it would be very very good.

greetings

Sven

P.S.: Sorry for my bad englisch :-)

Hi there... first, i excuse me for my bad english, i\\\'m learning english since 2 weeks... so i\\\'ll try my best :)

I\\\'ve downloaded the Ngists v 1.3.0 before some months... so in the last days i updated the ngists software to v 1.3.1
Now my Logitech g15, does\\\'nt connect to the teamspeak server... I am connected... i can talk with the friends... but the display just shows \\\"ts not connected\\\"

then i would downgrade the software, also return to v 1.3.0 and there i have the same problem now...

i love this applet... i hate gaming without it... ^^ so i need help as fast as possible ;)

Re: Plugin G13 planned?

Hi there, first a of all thx for your great work.

I got the same problem, too. But I think there\'s no chance to solve this problem, cause the G13 has not enough LCD buttons to use all functions of the Ngists plugin. If you would assign the scrollfunktion to one of the 25 macro buttons or the stick, you will scroll through the channels while you\'re playing your game.

Maybe it\'s possible for you to write a plugin or script, which includes the functions of a multimedia keyboard to the G13. For Example: I got a Logitech navigator Keyboard which also has a volume scroll button. (please see attachements)
Would be nice if I could use this to scroll through the channels or TS servers.

I think, that\'s the only way to use all plugin functions.

Hi SoundBl@ster

I just realised that Logitech\\\'s new software is now released. I need to have a look at what it does and see if/how I can add G13 scroll support. I\\\'ll post back when I\\\'ve had a look.

Does your ordinary keyboard have a volume control wheel or keys? If so, try using them and let me know if it works.

Same question for me! the plugin works great! scrolling however is a \"no-go\" for me. Can you fix this?

Actually, if it\\\'s displaying someone\\\'s name then it\\\'s not the same problem, and it\\\'s not necessarily a TS problem. Can you run a trace and post the log here?

well actually im now running windows 7 and i didn\'t notice this happening anymore.
ill tell you if i notice it again.

I have occationally experienced LCD freezes. Restarting Logitech LCD Manager seem to correct my issue. Unable to exit properly and having to shut it (LCDMon.exe) down manually in task manager suggests in my opinion it\\\'s an issue with Logitech\\\'s driver or software. NGists just happened to be the active application when LCD manager stopped responding.

Hi gijs, welcome to the forum. When you say that the screen hangs, what is it displaying when this happens? Sometimes the interface between NGists and TeamSpeak breaks down (this is a problem with the TS side of the interface) and NGists reports that the server is disconnected, even when it is. This is a known problem that I can\\\'t do anything about. Usually it fixes itself after a while, but sometimes you need to restart TS and/or NGists.

yup that\'s the problem i got sometimes or it just says my name/someone else name who was talking at the moment it crashed.
well thanks for answering the question anyway, hope they fix it in teamspeak 3.

Re: Volume scroll question

I\'ve had this issue reported by email too. It\'s a very difficult one to solve, because it only seems to happen to very few people.

Here\'s a test you can try.
1. Open up Notepad, and ensure that it remains the foreground application. When you type any letters, they should appear in Notepad.

2. In NGists, use the G15 buttons to connect to a channel that requires a password.

3. While the G15 screen is prompting you to enter your password, type in some letters, and see if they appear a) on the G15 screen; and b) in Notepad

Just an experiment :)

Hi Spellbot, welcome to the forum.

People do mention this kind of problem now and again, but it seems to be very intermittent and I\\\'ve never managed to work out how it happens. I thought that it was fixed in the latest version of NGists - what version are you running?

The most recent version, 1.3.1. I\'m thinking it has to do with applications not properly taking focus of the volume buttons. Just sitting on the XP desktop, if I use the volume buttons with NGists loaded, it also changes the overall sound level as well as changing Teamspeak channels. If I were to load up something like Media Player Classic and turn on Global Hotkeys, using the volume buttons will only change the volume level in MPC, and not the overall volume. So it seems with some options, the volume hotkeys can certainly be focused on certain programs and not others.
